β β β β β Many exciting new experiences at a painful cost.
Here you can expect a diverse range of thrillingly classic attractions such as trapeze, tight rope walking, and a proper ninja warrior course. As an athletic adrenaline junkie I gladly tried everything on offer, at full tilt! Thus I biasedly had a lot of fun while doing so...
However, without being allowed to wear shoes or have the option to purchase gloves, there was an unexpected amount of foot and hand abrasions and blisters. On a couple of attractions this was even more so with the presence of sandpaper grips on a few of the hand holds. This ultimately limited the length of time I could comfortably and safely continue. Unless you don't mind more pain and bleeding on more of the attractions... during a pandemic. I believe a fix for this would be that customers hands need to be stickier with gloves etc. and not the bars.
Although I was the least injured here on the jousting attraction, it seemed like it had the most problematic potential. Firstly you could choose to wield clubs with hard plastic pipe handles and foam tips, these are great for clobbering but if you are jousted with one the from on the end is no longer present and you going to get a face full of pipe end. Then there is its hard plastic balance beam, which gave good grip in bare feet but I believe it to be a poor surface for inevitable faceplants. Lastly was the safety mats which one you are beat down on to are still grimy from the 2 year I was told that they were in storage for. The perfect finishing move for my blooded hands any everyone else before me.
The zorb football is an adult trap, don't fall for it. The balls that were available today ,we assume, are ment for kids. So if you squeeze yourself in... well you're not coming out. Plus I didn't see any staff or products to sanitise them between customers and that's the sweaty claustrophobic nightmare I witnessed.
The location is an hour+ from the city and as an adult your hands and attention are not going to survive longer than an hour, so I would advise considering other destinations too, if you're heading this far north.
There were lots of young friendly staff who were not afraid to enforce the rules for everyone's safety. But some seem to be still learning the ropes, apart from a lone veteran who told me to toughen up my hands and stop texting haha.
The park feels incomplete. Despite the fact that it is still under some construction with a few attractions still unavailable, and random gravel that wasn't ideal for bare feet, it was still absent of a few essentials like shade, bins, water fountains, snacks, or lockers. Aesthetically it's missing any relevance to a 'ninja' themed park and not a pop-up traveling sideshow. Which isn't helped by the eclectic neighbouring small business and installations. Speaking of, Action Matakana is a military style obstacles course located on the north side at the same location, so it may be fun to smash both out while you're there.
This park has the potential to be a 5 Star destination, but I believe it will still need to go through its teething process to make sure its customers aren't losing any and keep smiling, but until then at least consider offering a lower entry fee if they can afford to.

β β β β β An amazing time for the whole family. Such a fun and exciting experience, trying things like the trapeze which I never thought I'd ever do. We did 2.5 hours but could have easily spent longer.

β β β β β We took our two (aged 7 + 11) yesterday and they LOVED it. We were there for 3.5 hours and only left because we ran out of food. Loved seeing them test their physical and mental capabilities: being scared but doing it anyway, trying again and again until they figured it out, and really testing themselves and having fun doing it. The staff were amazing: really patient, kind and reassuring to coax them through the scary bits.

β β β β β Awesome fun for the family. My 12 year old boy and 5 yr girl both had heaps of fun. Bring togs and towel though cause the waterslide is a great way to finish. It was pretty hot in there on a sunny day so maybe bring heaps of cold drinks too
