He was thorough, professional, compassionate of my wellbeing and communicated well and addressed questions and concerns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lost my balance, whilst my lawn mowing activity , and fell heavily on my right thigh and thence sciatica from thigh to foot on my right leg. I was prescribed pain killing pills that along with some pain relief came adverse side effects that troubled me enough to seek other health remedies. A catheter helped initially with my pee and bowel needs. Both the side effects of the pain relief drugs affected me mentally and physically. The warnings of these drugs, that is, the cause and effects became a real concern to me. I was bedridden for four weeks with the catheter and pain discomfort, and weeks of sleepless nights, constipation, listless and weak, wobbly and drugged-tired out days. Physiotherapists advised exercises, though encouraging, the drugs were adversely affecting me.
I wanted and needed something different.
It was at this time that my wife suggested another physiotherapist with acupuncture skills. I made an appointment with Manurewa Acupuncture. Jason was my natural therapist here. I am most grateful for his skills. At last with no more drugged out days and positive relief from acupuncture sessions, I recovered from my sciatica pain and associated unhealthy problems.
Subsequent to this experience, whilst moving heavy furniture, I damaged a costal cartilage in my left rib cage, so with the help of Jimmy at Manurewa Acupuncture and Physiotherapists I have recovered from this pain, too.
So with my accidents and recovery care of natural methods at Manurewa Acupuncture and Physiotherapy, and my return to herbal remedies, I am much healthier and happier and grateful.
Also, I am sure the welcoming and friendly service by the receptionists, made my appointments helpful and happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a horrible experience, with the hot rocks treatment. When they removed the rocks, it had burnt my skin. He said nothing. On finishing the treatment, he went to leave and i told him he left needles in my ankle and then proceeded to say "Sorry i forgot" and then removed them. The receptionist helped to dress my wound. I was in so much pain, I proceeded to go to the local A&E. Where they were shocked at the state of the burn, I am still receiving treatment from A&E as a result of going to this place.

At first the treatments did not produce any significant results but I was advised to be patient with the treatments and the recovery process and I'm glad I did. My pain has completely stopped. I did not think that was possible. I now have a series of stretches and exercises to keep myself pain free. I am completely satisfied with my treatment and would highly recommend them.

I wandered into this clinic after advice from a friend of mine. I have had "bad knees" for quite some time and can say that the treatment i received was beyond my expectations. I feel great. I will be coming back.

I loved my first experience there and the staff are very welcoming it is awesome. I am currently recovering from shin splints and it is still healing.
