★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We contacted Nick prior to Christmas to have a main feature wall done before we moved in. He arrived within the hour and transpired a delay with other work meant that could not only do the wall, but the whole interior before we moved in. This was such a boon and so much less hassle all round. After deciding what colour and finishes were required, we left the keys with the team and they took care of everything, even down to removing and rehanging blinds. Everything was completed to such a high standard and we were thrilled with the work. The icing on the cake was dealing with a company that was super responsive and kept in touch throughout, even down to sending update photos to us. The guys are a delight to have in the home, super respectful and diligent. Addo Painting = all round excellence!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a pleasure to work with ADDO painting, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a house painter.
We hired ADDO painting to stain our exterior timber walls and paint the eaves and fascia, which had faded over time. Nick was extremely prompt in providing a competitive quote, along with clear explanations and advice on the work needed. He maintained regular communications on the timing of the work, and managed to fit our job in within a month despite the challenges of working during Covid-19. Nick also lined up a local scaffolding company for us, and managed communications with the scaffolders throughout, so that it was very straightforward from our end.
The ADDO painting team were very efficient and professional in completing the staining/painting, and the end result is a beautiful, tidy finish. Our walls look new again! Nick also went the extra mile to help us resolve an unexpected issue with one of the eaves, to apply an extra coat where needed, and to get all the staining and painting completed before it started to rain.
If you're looking for a painter that will not only ensure that your job is completed in time, but that you get the best possible outcome, then I highly recommend ADDO painting.

Nick kept us informed each step of the way regarding progress which was very reassuring. The quality of their work is of a very high standard and I was amazed at the difference in the house and how it looks when it was finished. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need any painting done, you should absolutely choose ADDO. Nick gave us the best bid, a detailed work schedule and accurate timeline. His crew always came to the house exactly on time and worked hard all day. They were fun and friendly. The painting was very neatly done and cleaned up very well at the end of the day. Nick came by often to check out the work and see if we were satisfied.
The job was finished exactly as promised and looks fantastic.

I was highly impressed with the professionalism of Nick, from the initial consultation, to the quoting process through to the finished job. This was a tricky job, with a lot of small details in an older property. Each day Nick would communicate clearly what he and the team were doing, and would double check with me before making any decisions (I was not able to be on site during the painting process, as am based out of the Nelson / Tasman area).
