★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We scheduled a 6am pick up (we started waiting at 5:50am as instructed). I decided to call the company after waiting about 15 minutes when we hadn't seen the shuttle. The lady on the phone was a bit curt and unfriendly. She explained that the shuttle was running a bit late, which was no big deal. Shuttle showed up about 5 minutes later. When we got to the entrance, the driver gave us some useful tips. At then end of our hike, we got greeted with a different (much friendlier) driver with popsicles and ice water. I think the shuttle was supposed to come at 2pm but ours didn't come until about 2:15pm, which, again, wasn't a big deal. Overall, other than some very minor hiccups, our experience with this company was smooth and nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool day up the mountain made all the better by using Adventure HQ to get me up there. My skis were handed to me, I was right outside the ticket booth. No hassles, no worries, just skiing for the day. Then a relaxing trip back to Taupo. I will definitely use Adventure HQ again. Thanks so much for a cool experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used adventurehq shuttles from taupo on boxing day as a few other companies weren't running even though the weather turned out to be great. The shuttles were on time and our driver was lovely! There was a good selection of pickups at the end of the hike and the driver made sure everyone was properly prepared for the hike. Even got a free ice lolly at the end of it which we loved!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got return shuttle service from our hotel in Taupo for the Tongariro Crossing. They are very clear about what time the return shuttle buses are, and we managed to get the first one of two back, picked up by our friendly driver from the end point and even got an ice lolly :) Would definitely recommend doing the crossing and would recommend doing a transfer with these guys - meant we didn't need to leave our car by the side of the road (we would have needed to book a one way transfer either way), and frankly we were happy we didn't have the drive there and back - especially at the end of the day! They also have equipment and water available if you find yourself under-prepared.

Paul had an awesome attitude and was always on time, plus flexible to pick up and drop off to my address in Taupo.
Good communication by email and text. I'd highly recommend using the shuttle service if you're skiing whakapapa from Taupo, I'd use them again for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I strongly recommend Adventure HQ. Picked us up on time at Ketetahi carpark. The driver was very polite and with a sence of humor, so we really enjoyed the drive. Also he took a Step further to explain health and safety rules on the Track and even warned everyone to drive carefully afterwards as there are many accidents around. The Best shuttle service for a very reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got return service from Taupo, on time for morning pick up, we were fortunate also that we finished the hike just as a bus arrived so got straight on to come home. Good communication via email as our initial date got cancelled due to weather, rebooked for the next day no issue. Great day out and would definitely recommend Adventure HQ. Also the popsicle on the way home could not have tasted better!
