D	David Cook on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Counter service excellent on all four flights. Cabin service adequate but lacking much of the "friendliness" of previous flights made. Cabin announcements were very difficult to follow due to very poor speech speeds and general speech clarity.

My father and I have had a terrible, awful, awful time and I would not wish this experience upon my worst enemy. There are other airlines that are not as shady, much more honest, and cooperative and guest oriented. After missing my international connection because another ANZ flight took off half an hour late (because they were waiting on other passengers), I was told by an terrible woman at guest services that she “didn’t have time for me and had other things to do.” We ended up rebooking with a different airline to fly home because I find this organization to be so dishonest and un-compassionate. I really caution future travelers. They’ve got a lot of great reviews, but when something goes wrong they are ultimately a business who is in this to make money off your misfortune. Please be careful.
E	Emma Rain McCloud on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for the terrible treatment I was given by a male air Stewart on our return trip home to New Zealand from the US, When we departed the plane after a perfect trip to the US and back the Stewart was saying goodbye to everyone and welcoming them home , my husband said to him you can welcome home my wife too and he said , no I won't do that. ! Because I was an immigrant. We were shocked, when we called Air New Zealand about it they were upset that someone had complained about someone they felt had a perfect record, not upset about what he said at all. then eventually they apologised. I never felt they felt sorry for the treatment he gave me, he said welcome home to my husband and he had helped us earlier on the plane getting me a pencil so he knew I was and immigrant and my husband said you can say welcome home to me, and he wouldn't it was so rude . Too bad as we had such a great trip . Very poor .
W	Wayne Perkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived flustered out of breath at 6:31 for my 7:00am departure from Queenstown to Christchurch on Friday 9th April and was told because I hadn’t checked in online that I wouldn’t be flying. There were no available seats on the later flights so that was that with $400 down the drain and I drove their and back instead

Both nationally and internationally I have found them to have staff cabin crew and ground staff that are professional, courteous and willing to help. Particularly the international flight crews. They do need to maybe look a bit happier in their jobs sometimes but otherwise I have no complaints about staff or flights whatsoever. Also I have never had luggage go missing with Air New Zealand either. ?

But if there is any issue whatsoever, you'll need to wait over 2 hrs to talk to a customer service agent and will have to pay to fix any issues. Did your Flight get cancelled? Well you'll never get a hold of any airline agents, so you'll be forced to pay extra to change your flight. I want to warn any travellers, if you can avoid Air NZ at any cost, then please try to avoid them. They are an incredibly dishonest company that do not care about customer experiences at all. They have a monopoly in NZ and we are forced to use them, but please try your best to avoid them. I sincerely do not want other travellers to go through the frustration and worry I had to deal with in regards to this company.
