★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's good, but it's got some mixture between trying to be authentic and just being kind of being Asian food. I think this is a bit of a "hit or average".
I usually order the salmon teriyaki-don ?, which is pretty good but I would say the flavours are a bit too strong to be authentic Japanese, nonetheless, it still is tasty, the portion size is good too?I did notice some food you order seem to have smaller portions than others though. I do recommend the Obentos for occasions, really good mix of things!
Staff have always been polite ? and the restaurant is clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Japanese food in town! The staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment step through the door. The sushi is incredible and there are so many amazing other dishes. Aki Kitchen really has become one of my favourite places and I will be a repeat customer. A huge thank you to the lovely young man on the counter who made me fresh salmon sushi when they had run out. Incredible service and so very wonderful staff.
