Wooden paths can be sloppy. Good short cut from Gladstone to George bay rd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small patch of green and dog park in Parnell with shortcuts to Georges Bay, Gladstone etc. A lot bigger than other reserves I've seen in the area with clear areas in the middle for dogs to roam around and to sit on benches. Also close to the weekend french market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn’t recommend as a destination a such but well worth a walk through rather than pounding the pavements. Lush bush and trees and plenty of birdsong making for a very pleasant walk. A couple of steep parts so perfect for a good walk and exercise during your lunch break if you work nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely little hidden gem to enjoy, Albion Reserve has a football field sized sloped green space nestled in amongst native bush. Sit for a lunch or picnic, take a board walk through mature native trees or just whittle away some time amongst the peaceful native birdsong.
