Peter Craigie is a European car specialist well known in the Wellington region for his deep understanding of the complexity of European cars. Relationships are at the core of Peter’s business: local dealers and mechanics consult with him for advice on European cars and some of our customers have been with us for 20 years - almost as long as Peter has been practising his craft as a mechanic.
June’s customer experience: I had gone to the closest garage thinking all the cars were the same, but in the end the time to diagnose what was wrong with my BMW and the price of the repair was more than I expected. I tried Peter’s All European workshop and realised what a difference a specialisation in European cars makes. My car was repaired for a more accessible price and has great long lasting on road performance.
We also have high quality European cars for sale, we are currently selling a Jaguar XF 2015.
This Jaguar is imported from Japan and in immaculate condition with only 10,000 km.
We stand by our products: Purchase includes a two year warranty, under the condition of an annual service.

From receiving a $2k invoice on a car worth $4.5k without any prior discussion or estimate (even when explicitly asked for several times), to removing parts without telling me, to name calling in the end, I was shocked and appalled at my experience with All European. I couldn’t even ask the MTA to assist with our dispute because All European isn’t a member.
Peter might be a perfectly fine mechanic, but he shouldn’t be running a business. There are so many reputable, MTA-approved European specialists to go to instead.

My 1990 Mercedes 300E 24 Valve Klassic has not run smoothly for over 3 years, despite more than 11 visits to Ray Hartley Motors, on a tow truck, and thousands of dollars in bills. It sat broken in a yard for 2 years with no diagnosis. Peter diagnosed and fixed the problem in a few hours. The car now runs as it should and is a joy to drive. I wish I had found Peter sooner. He's a top man, really smart and a really good mechanic. I recommend him highly to owners of European cars who really care about their cars.

Pete’s communication is exemplary and informs me of any unforeseen expenses and gives me options to make the right decision.
