★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always lots beginners on Sundays and a good time to go get some balancing skills. Cafe on site and very friendly and helpful staff. Good fun. Ample parking. 16 bucks without skates and 12 with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at the canteen were rude. Telling me I needed a mask even though I showed her my exemption. So was refused service. The staff in the hi-vis working behind the skate hire etc was polite and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Learn to skate is very nice, casual, no need to book or commit to scheduled classes, available every Sunday morning $13 per person and $20 if you also want to stay for the first session. The rental skates are pretty bad though. Helmets are free for kids to borrow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take the family. Still a bit expensive to go every week, but I take my granddaughter quite often, and she loves it. They sell hot food and drinks. No need to book ahead unless there's a special event. They charge extra to book online and don't take bookings in advance.
