★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an adventurous place and activity. It is at a bit of distance from Christchurch but worth doing it. It takes you to a remote place where your speedboat adventure starts in Waimakariri river.
Our boat caption was a nice man and gave us a good introduction of the area. It was about half an hour speed run upstream with lots of 360 degree spins and similarly 30 minutes downstream journey. River flows right next to a railway track up the hill laid for mining but used for tourists train only. There is enough parking available, a nice coffee shop and toilets.
You can feed sheeps and lamas grazing in that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experiencing seeing some of the best landscape New Zealand has to offer. The tour guide was hilarious and really friendly. I would recommend this to anyone look for a exciting and educational adventure. Great for all ages!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What amazing day I had, Paul was very accommodating and picked me up from my hotel. We chatted the whole way there and the whole way back. Paul's an absolute gentleman and made for a jet boating experience I'll never forget. This is a must do if you visit Christchurch.
