★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an awesome day out today with Roy and his crew, loved seeing the seals on the rocks, dolphins and penguins swim by the boat and even captured a pic of a seal doing flips out of the water, pretty magical. Most defenatly reccomend this !

We saw other tour operaters not going out as far as we did and certainly not on the water as long as we were either. We felt sure they wouldn't have seen dolphins at all.
We felt very pleased that we had choosen to sail with Fox ll, as we were treated to a 3 1/2 hour sail yesterday.
We did feel a little sorry for the people waiting for the 1.30 sailing as we didn't return until 2pm, but I am sure they would have been treated just as we had and would have been just as pleased. I did take a shot of them leaving the harbour incase they may like that photo.
Thank you captain - we sung your praises to many when we stayed at Akaroa camping ground last night with our grandchildren :))
We plan to return with vistors in the future

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely magical harbor cruise, very highly recommended. An absolute must do if you're visiting/in Akaroa do not look past it!
Very friendly and knowledgeable captain Roy, made it a special experience. Was really fun listening to the history and facts.
We saw SO many dolphins it was an absolute delight! He has a sweet little trick to get them to the boat and makes for a wonderful moment.
Also saw a colony of seals and got right up close. We'll never forget this and will definitely be back for more! Definitely go!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roy educated us on the historic and cultural history of Akaroa throughout the journey and his knowledge on the local flora and fauna! This and the small tour numbers made this a unique and memorable experience. Saw the beautiful hectors dolphins too. I highly recommend!
