★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a mystery holiday. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the hotel staff. All the areas were very clean. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. The penguins are adorable and make Oam*** a worthwhile stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely good value for money. Trucks travelling on the main road at all times of the night and day did not provide a good nights sleep. Our hosts Diane and Ray were most helpful and gave us any info we needed. Diane was very helpful and always smiling, thank you Diane.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was fine if somewhat dated but the noise from the main road outside was intrusive with some trucks all night long. We stayed in a unit which had recently been renovated to a very high standard. Good stopover on our way to Dunedin for the weekend to visit family.

Losing 2 stars for the awful water temperature control. Bath room sink got strange 2 nozzle, 1 freezing, the other one super hot like just boiled. The shower nozzle was too old, water pressure was not enough to have a pleasing shower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable spacious unit. Very clean and tidy. Kitchen amenities were excellent. Highly recommended if you need basically what amounts to having your own home transported to Oam*** with you family of course. Kindly and helpful people at this desk. The laundry was avaliable for use at a resonable cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adequate for the one night. Scrupulously clean, proprietor helpful and very friendly. However, very dated decor (still with 70's formica walls etc) and shower water pressure was almost non-existent. Pricey for what it was.
