This area is loved by anglers from around the country for its amazing Trout fishing, and Captain “Whiskery” Mike Holtom brings years of experience and a genuine love of the lake to every trip. Young or old, experienced or complete beginner, he will make sure you have a great time and catch some great fish!
Captain Mike offers so much more than just fishing onboard. He sees every group as friends, not customers, and he will tell you all about the history of the area and how Trout made their way here from California as you reel in monsters well worthy of rivaling their American cousins. Think of it as a combination of a fishing trip and a geological and historical tour. Kids love these trips, so they are the perfect opportunity to build lifelong memories for you and your family.
Captain Mike has a new, purpose-built Surtees 5.5 Workmate boat that can take up to four people. She is a well-presented, richly equipped, safe and clean vessel. On this proven fishing platform, you will have a fun and safe ride with your family and friends. The boat has everything you need to catch a winner, from GPS and fishfinder to downriggers, a trolling motor, and quality fishing gear from Shimano and Berkley.
At the end of each day, your catch will be cleaned and filleted. You can also ask Captain Mike to smoke it for you for just $15 extra.
