★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non lasciatevi ingannare dal fatto che servono cibo da un caravan, la cucina di Amaranto è di alto livello. Materie prime selezionate e cura nella presentazione dei piatti, senza tralasciare che è tutto rigorosamente gluten-free. Ho conosciuto Luisa e Tommaso ad una festa a casa di amici dove loro facevano il catering ed i piatti erano tutti buonissimi e belli da vedere. Per fortuna non fanno solo eventi privati e sono potuta diventare loro cliente affezionata. Controllate il loro profilo Instagram per sapere dove sono e provateli perché rimarrete deliziati.
 Don't be fooled by the fact that they serve food from a caravan, Amaranth's cuisine is of a high standard. Selected raw materials and care in the presentation of the dishes, without forgetting that everything is strictly gluten-free. I met Luisa and Tommaso at a party at a friend's house where they did the catering and the dishes were all delicious and beautiful to look at. Luckily they don't just do private events and I was able to become their loyal customer. Check their Instagram profile to find out where they are and try them because you will be delighted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is actually my favourite Italian food (in NZ and Italy!). He is an incredible and authentic chef. Menu is simple but spot on. Me and my bf drive all the way to a matakana just to eat at Amatanto ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe I just caught them on a bad night but the gnocchi was unfortunately the worst ive had... $20 for a prawn, tomato and zuchini gnocchi... the sauce was bland, the gnocchi was mushy and I recieved one tiny prawn and two cherrie tomatoes throughout the entire dish. Bit of a let down as I was higly looking forward to trying their gnocchi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite Italian in Auckland. Their tiny ravioli are the best I have ever eaten, the fact that all their food is gluten-free makes it even better and you can't even taste the difference. Tiramisù it's so delicious too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could have given 6 stars; I would have. This is wonderful food - being GF for many years now, I find it hard to find truly delicious GF pasta. Tommy's pasta is wonderful as are all the other dishes I have tried. Their sourdough is high quality. We are a house chock-full of coeliacs and are so grateful for your vision!
