β β β β β We were looking forward to our lunch after being recommended by friends.
The venue is gorgeous, the ambience is there and the service was fine. But after reviewing the menu we were struggling to decide what we wanted to eat. Everything seemed to be too cool for school. The choices were limited, and didn't appeal. When the starters came out, the tuna was tasteless and over seasoned, and the sausage was undercooked. On to the mains. Meant to be slow cooked lamb. What arrived was definitely not slow cooked, rather rare and quite fatty small pieces and very small portions. Desserts were no better, tasteless and uninspiring.
All in all a very disappointing experience, plus over priced and over rated.

β β β β β Today we arrived around midday to experience the delightful offerings of Amisfield. Natasha on the tasting desk was exemplary, she knows the products well and offered sound advice. However, once we completed our tasting we requested to have a glass each prior to moving on and we were turned away saying they were not accepting walk in guests until half past two, knowing only too well we would not wait. The venue was clearly well staffed considering COVID, with four of us having significant hospitality experience. This kind of behaviour is not only highly upsetting, it is a stain on your brand and one I hope steers people clear of your cellar door. A winery such as yours is supposed to be a pleasure to visit, my partner and I were scoping for a possible wedding venue. Sadly, you are off the list. I hope Natasha is head hunted to a winery that appreciates custom.

β β β β β Amazing food! My 7 friends and I had tapas for lunch there and everything was delicious. The wine was really good, location is fantastic and our waiter was lovely. Highly recommended.

β β β β β no greetings on entrance, was not seated then waited 10 minutes for service, to be told no food or wine. very rude staff to the point I was shocked a winery restaurant like this had been recommended so highly to my friends and I. we wasted $100 on taxi fares for nothing. also called twice during the week as well on the day to make sure there is no need to make a booking. not to mention we were only a table of 4 who wanted a couple of bottles of wine to enjoy. definitely will not be going back, very very disappointed.

β β β β β This is our favourite winery in Queenstown. Best Pinot Noir in town and their Riesling is exquisite.

β β β β β Such a great experience to do wine tasting here.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
From bubble, orange wine, rose to pinot noir etc, very wide product range.
$15 for 5 tastings, very good value.
