★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by The Hayes for lunch. They serve brunch till 3 pm. Our waitress was very sweet and quick with the food. I ordered Good Start and it was ok. A little blend in my view. The outdoor seating has a nice view, which along with a glass of SB made it quite a happy stop :)
P.S. there is a nice courtyard at the restaurant with a slide and small area for kids to run which is a major plus for families traveling with kids

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy cafe/restaurant located in the middle of a town. The staff are friendly and food is very good. Choose to dine in or outside and watch rugby or feast your eyes on the snowcapped mountains while enjoying your meal. Parking is a pain (being a residential area), there is a park nearby where there should be some spots available. Would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average/acceptable food ruined by owner or owner's friend who likes to relax with a smoke in the outside restaurant area where we sat for our meal. He just came and sat in the table behind us, up wind, and lit up. Moved tables but the wind carried the smell over the whole place...
Apparently we're not the only ones who thought they'd give the place a go to have their meals ruined by the mysterious smoker as our friends had an identical experience. Who would let someone smoke in the restaurant area regardless if it's outside? Either way neither of our families will return, explains why the place is typically empty. Sad really, it's in a good spot and the only easily walkable restaurant for our kids. Will stretch their legs a little further to Franks instead.

Ribs were perfectly cooked and those fish tacos were juicy as the campervans you see parked outside ? Delicious, we will definitely be back ☺️ P.S we hope you get Sharyn serving you, cause she was fabulous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The little one is so happy to play there, children friendly. I ordered a bacon and egg roll and a chicken burger, which are very nice. Also, the burger bun surprised me. Staff is very helpful.
