★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are great and great range of products. I also love that they no longer have animals in glass door boxes now which is alot more ethical for the animals quality of life.
Only down side is I think they should have a question counter because you can be waiting awhile at the till to be serviced while you wait for people to ask questions about what's best for their pet. Which is fine but as i was waiting over 5mins to be served with a growing line behind me, a question desk would be smart rather than having lines at the till while NOBODY is actually able to make their purchase. Besides that the staff are grand lovely people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dog is groomed regularly here. Zailie does the most amazing job! My doggo always comes out looking insanely sleek, has a shiny coat, a tidy cut and is happy and relaxed. Can't recommend enough. The care that goes into making sure he is happy and we are too, is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VV helpful staff, will take time and discuss pet issues, ours was anxious barking. Elaine? (blue hair), explained all our options, obviously an animal lover not just working there. Will go again and recommend. Dog wash on site, always good for a laugh ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time there . Just arrived in the area . Been to 23 Animates since we left the Naki for 12mths on the road . Just cannot fault Animates , the one in Taupo unfortunately does not have a dog wash , and 1 out of the 3 in Tauranga also does not have a dog wash .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter is allergic to the cat. Animates is the closest store that carries the purina brand that has the allergen reducing cat food. Almost two weeks on the new cat food and its is working!!! When I originally went to Animates the staff were friendly and knowledgeable on my issue with the cat. So I left happy and will return ?
