Great range of retro and antique goods. The store is packed with a large variety of items and you should be able to find something for anyone. There's lots of cheap parking out front and the store is located in a great location in the central business district of Wanganui in the main strip. Lots of cafes around too if you want to make a trip of it.

I'm sorry that I missed your no photos sign. If you had just told me that, I would have understood. But you didn't need to become conforntational demanding that I explain my action or asking where I was from. I felt chased out of your store and very uncomfortable by how you treated me. I felt bullied. It was rude and shocking behaviour from someone trying to work in retail. You lost a customer.

Sorry I didn’t see the no photos sign but you didn’t have to go on and on about it even after I had apologised multiple times and deleted the photo, and you still went on about it. Making me feel like I was getting told off by a parent. All you had to say was sorry no photos, I would of deleted. End off. Would not go back here because of that.

We would give this shop negative stars if possible. The owner failed to abide by public health requirements. The was no Covid app tracer or signing book. When approached the owner was extremely defensive, rude and ignorant about the public safety requirements regarding Covid-19. We were told it was her shop and didn’t have to go in there if we didn’t want to. We wouldn’t have gone in had we known there wasn’t a QR sign inside.

A store jam tastefully packed of all things retro. No photos or video allowed inside.

We walked in there quite interested in purchasing some rings. Upon walking in, we saw the "no photos sign" and abided by it. However, instantly, we were scolded for having our phones out when we were in important communications and required our phones. She was abrupt, and was incredibly rude, and kept going on about how we weren't meant to have phones when we were apologetic. There was no signage stating no phones could be used. She then audibly complained about us to another customer, saying we "packed sads" and left after learning about the rule. Lastly, she said "We're not even properly open, just for appointments". What a warm welcome for potential customers.

Appalling behaviour from who I can only assume is the owner. I'm not the first to mention and I'm sure I'll not be the last to be treated like a child while I had my phone out. Same story; no sign seen, I took no photos or videos. Had she let me have any time of day to speak instead of speaking over me I could've explained I was shopping for someone over the phone so she effectively lost two customers while telling me her store was reality and I was welcome to come back to her store when I was ready to enter reality while being herded out like an animal and then had the door closed on my face and told I was being rude. I've been in customer service 17 years and couldn't fathom treating a customer this way. Truly disgusting behaviour especially from anyone in the service industry.

Answered an important call as I walked in looking for a gift for antique obsessed friend. Immediately accosted by who I assume was the owner with β€œI don’t like phones, you will have leave” told her I would spend my money elsewhere and got followed to the door as she said β€œyou do that”. What a ridiculous way to treat your customers. I see this is a regular occurrence for customers there. Would recommend staying away from the negative vibe all together.
