★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy launch and retrieve but don't try low tide and upto 2 hours either side if you have a 5m or bigger boat, and 4x4 is recommended but not essential as sand is pretty hard

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bay is fairly pretty, but on a nice day in the holidays or summer weekends, it gets absolutely packed. Add the boat ramp and jekskiers at one end of the bay and people obnoxiously casting fishing lines at the other, it doesn't leave that much room for the hundreds of people that turn out for picnics, sunbathing and swimming. Unfortunately it's one of the only swimmable non-surf beaches that I know of in the area.

It was just a pity about all the w***ers that can't just enjoy the sounds of nature. Had to ruin it with their obnoxious little Bluetooth speakers.
No-one wants to hear your s**t music mate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible smooth and calm bay, great clarity for a bit of snorkeling, safe swimming and laying for the kids, warf to do bombs off and rocks to fish. Pretty much the kiwi dream.

Highly recommend adding this too your Travels. Many gorgussssss Walkways for you, your Children & Doggies! Beaut Swimming spot too. Heaps of Parking, Picnic tables an Trees for Shade plus numerous Wildlife for the sound of Nature's Music in your Soul. Uplifting & Safe environment x
