This place has become our go to place in every holiday and long weekends.
Not only the place is really amazing and clean. but those running it are very wonderful people who didn't sell out to the governments discrimination of kiwi families and welcomed everyone without any discrimination what so ever. We are definitely glad to hand over our hard earned money to such amazing people.
You earned yourself costumers for life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is fine, but I strongly suggest to divide camping areas by kids / family friendly and not.
It was 10 pm and a group of kids were still yelling and playing and I woke up at 7 am by the same kids yelling and playing.
If you are looking for a place to relax and connect with nature, this is not the one.
It’s good that I was allowed to bring my dog, who was absolute quiet the whole time, but if I signed a document committing to supervise my dog, parents should do the same with kids. Absolutely rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great campsite, awesome facilities. The motel rooms are really nice. Playground and beaches kept a large group of kids, from 3 to 10, happy for two days. Coffee shop, shared BBQ areas and local walks kept parents happy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for 6 nights in tents with 6 families. The place is very well run. Showers and toliets were always clean. Great coffee on site until 1pm. Staff friendly. Good campground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in a self contained unit in the April school holidays. We loved it. The kids loved the jumping pillow, staff is super friendly, and the unit was very clean. Waihi beach is beautiful, but for swimming with smaller kids Shelley Bay a short walk away is better. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay! The staff were fantastic and moved everything around for us to stay. I’m updating a previous review which was fairly under appreciative of the measures they made to accomodate us (we called in on the same day). Very nice facilities, and the walks to the caves and Anzac bay are a must do!
Would be a lovely place to stay for 3 or 4 nights instead of just the one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, clean facilities, although only one kitchen area, so a short walk to get dinner ready if you are on the opposite side. Nearby to lovely beaches. Gets very dusty and crowded with cars during summer. Kids loved the bouncy pillow.
