★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to relax and have a good feed and a few drinks. They have powered sites for moterhomes out the back so you can park overnight if you like. We will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IM COMING BACK!!! Again and again! Dropped in Sunday for lunch with a toddler and we absolutely loved every meal we had. The ribs just fell right off the bone like it should. The seafood risotto was packed with seafood and a generous size too- not the cheapest stuff either it had scallops, prawns, mussels and fish. The beef brisket burger had my husband drooling. We'll definitely be back again. Staff was just the icing on the cake. Super friendly and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OMG this pub should be on everyone's list of places to visit. We went for a drive on Sunday for lunch, were greeted with a smile, they asked our names and form that point on addressed us by name with every interaction we had, customer service plus.
The meal was incredible the brisket burger is every males dream lots of meat, the pork belly noodle salad was so tasty I didn't share it. And very reasonable for the food and drinks, we will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think I have said it once before but i will say it again.... this is worth the drive and looking at how hard it is to get a table word has gotten out. The food is just amazing. The staff are nice and check in on you to much sure you are all good. So I say if your wanting a place to go for a nice drive in the country side and have great food and a cold drink this is the one. But might pay to book. Would not want you to miss out on the amazing food and it's not to badly priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is - fantastic. Outstanding food and great friendly staff. Don’t miss out on this hidden stop - here are a few of the desserts- but the ribs etc are great! Nice local atmosphere, play pétanque and enjoy a drink or two

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want top restaurant quality meals then definitely eat here. The food is as good as any restaurant in Wellington or Auckland and much better value for money. The staff are absolutely lovely and the scenery is stunning. I highly recommend Apiti Tavern and Eatery if you are out that way. You won't be disappointed.
