Fantastic place. People are super helpful and get involved in what you are trying to find information about. What a great facility. Only wish I could get there for longer and more often!

The staff were helpful and accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. Everyone I met here appeared happy and proud of their work, their environment, and their systems. Very impressed!

Lovely building. Easy to find The service is wonderful too. It's easy to find being near the air force museum but a pity Archives isnt in the central city area anymore. However visitors can get there on the yellow bus or 80 bus from the central bus exchange.

I went to the Archives brand spanking new building last Friday to find out the do's & dont's & then went in today to begin my study. The staff are very helpful & the area used by those researching is quite spacious & comfortable. Several large white desks with power ports for computers & other powered instruments are available. All up it's just the place for a bit of reading & writing. Now I do have one moan & I hope the Archives CEO takes a long hard look at my query. Compared to the building the 4 computers available to the public are totally unsuited for the job. I started this morn with the one nearest to the door - no go, moved on - same, next one ok but slow & before I finished it packed a sad & shut down. In a building that probably cost a $million/3 & they cannot spend a couple of bob on decent computers well you have to wonder who the bloke/woman is in charge. I bet the computer on their desk is up to date! Well that's it but it's a lovely bldg to work from & I'm looking forward to being there again soon.
