β β β β β What a great company to deal with !! From the time we arranged to collect the car we were treated with a friendly smile and the car was started and made ready for our holiday. No problems during our two weeks, but was sure that they would be there to assist in any way. We will hire again.

β β β β β A really good experience with Bargain Car Rentals! The car was clean, tidy and extremely well priced - a bargain one might say! The staff were very helpful with choosing the right level of insurance. All in all it was great and I'd definitely use them again and recommend to others.

β β β β β I booked online and when I arrived the staff already prepared the car and car key for me.
Nothing need to do just signed my name. Very easy to rent a car. The staff is very friendly and most importantly a GOOD CAR with a cheap price! And I afraided would be a hidden charge but nothing! This was the first time I rent a car in NZ And very happy to choose Bargain. I had a great experience here and absolutely will come back again.

β β β β β This is our second hire from Bargain Rental Cars,we will only use this company when we need a rental.
Excellent value for the very reasonable rental.
Both cars we have hired were touring vehicles,some minor cosmetic paint issues but mechanically performed extremely well.
Clean & comfortable.
Booking process was easy,so was pick up.
The staff members we met were friendly and helpful.
I'm happy to write this review & details are 100%correct.
If you need a rental but find the bigger companies over priced,look no further than BRC.

β β β β β a nightmare. If you need winz help go elsewhere. Needed a lift back, they quoted nonliftback to winz. Then they didn't have the truck when I went to get it, then put us off a day because the bank never cleared even with on phone communication with winz. Got a larger truck but my poor missus couldn't do it and broke down. We couldn't organise helpers so things went badly and the shift is way over time. I don't like to write bad reviews but this was a hellish experience :(

β β β β β Due to border closures and whatnot, our booking with Bargain Rental Cars had to change several times. Each time the staff were super friendly and happy to assist us. Picking up/dropping off the car in Christchurch was also a wonderful and friendly experience, the staff were fantastic, explained everything very well, even demonstrated the snow chains for us. They even showed us an error that we'd accidentally paid for windscreen protection twice and refunded us the difference.
The car, a Toyota corolla sedan, didn't skip a beat. It got the four of us with all our luggage everywhere we needed to go without any problems, it managed the slush of the road going to the ski fields just fine.
10/10 would use Bargain Rental Cars again
