★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cant really review as didnt get to stay here but I did pay for it! In fairness we booked at 17:30 outside of hours, though it didnt tell us that as we booked. Couldnt get hold of anyone by phone or whilst walking around at the site so presumed it was closed. We left 15minutes later and still ended up paying for the nights stay. Tried to call the next morning to get a refund as clearly had been closed when we booked, again couldnt get through. Unfortunately really horrible customer service experience when I did get through. Travel up to Arthurs pass quite often since moving to Christchurch but wouldnt try and stay there again after this experience.

Room is clean and tidy, warm and big enough. Staff is kind, kitchen area is clean and there are everything you needs.
If we come back to Arthur's pass definitely we will stay here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked here after a high recommendation from friends. The room (Slashe's Chalet) was excellent - plenty of space - 2 bedroom unit with kitchen & spacious lounge. Great location right in the centre of the town and 2 minutes walk to cafe, restaurant and visitor centre. Makela was super helpful. Highly recommend this motel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So friendly, high quality rooms, HIGH PRESSURE SHOWER! From our room we could look up a mountain gully, nothing but the sound of nature.
Less than 5 min to the devils punchbowl track which was amazing.
Can't wait to visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired the main building with the dining area and 5 rooms/suite. The accommodation and facilities are amazing. Beautifully done and everything really well thought out. Super warm, super quiet and insulated. Michaela was an excellent onsite host and nothing was a problem. I highly recommend this for groups wanting to get away, off site team meetings, family gatherings.we bought our own prepared food but there is a good well equipped kitchen with great kitchen ware. Well worth booking. (The suite with the large living room and extra kitchette inside the main building is fabulous!)
