★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best art galleries in the world. My first contact was a few years ago in Old Cromwell. I was absolutely delighted to see that Artofact Gallery is now in Picton. The artwork is absolutely fabulous, as is the expertise, advice and service provided by the owners Olaf and Birgit. I look forward to visiting on my next trip. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only ambled in as we had a little time before the ferry crossing, so we were positively surprised at the level of art on display. Not your run of the mill art for sure. The knowledgeable young couple that are running the gallery gave us the space to explore the interesting displays ourselves, but were very helpful to answer all questions. They told us that they are interested in supporting young and upcoming artists. This will keep their display exciting and fresh.
Their collection is therefore quite eclectic, with unusual pieces, which include kinesthetics sculpture, incredible drawings, abstract paintings as well as fun pieces of ceramics to name a few. It is a place where I like to go for the "right" piece for my own collection.
Located on the main street in Picton it is easy to find. We are certainly visiting again and have a piece in mind already. We recommend a visit. It will make your day. It made mine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have not often come across such a rude retailer. When trying to have a discussion with him about artists in the area he was just not interested. When I revisited to show my wife some of the works on display, we thanked him on the way out. He looked up and dismissively looked away.
Locals told us this was normal behaviour to be expected from him and his wife.
