★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kiwi-as, lots of great locals came up and chatted, honest pub-food with seafood you can’t find in the North Island like orange roughy (done several ways).... great spot for an old-school kiwi experience. Awesome food!!! And beer is cheap too. Local musician doing 80s kiwiana.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant bar located in town. Food was awesome, try the home made fish pie. Relaxed atmosphere with 80s 90s background music. The bar and table service friendly and pleasant. Food arrived in good time and great to eat. An enjoyable evening for two. Would recommend visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh it was yummy. I got a summer salad with crumbed chicken breast. It was very tasty. Lovely dressing, pumpkin seeds and it was just so fresh. I was after something light so this hit the spot. My mate however ordered the steak. It looked awesome!! Good hunk of meat. Stole a couple of his chips.. had to steal a few more ? Great food. Real locals pub ❤️
