★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little park, with lots of trees, gardens and wide open spaces. It has a very extensive playground with a big variety of equipment. It includes stuff for both the little ones and the more adventurous. The Ashhurst Domain is a great place for a break to either stretch the legs or as an excursion from Palmerston North. It also has a good picnic area as well as clean and tidy toilets. It is worth stopping here.

Power, showers, toilets and dump station available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park kept in excellent condition. Clean, well appointed restrooms including hot showers/toilets for overnight campers & a small kitchenette. Great flying fox in the lovely children's playground. Walkways to the river through nice bush tracks. Level/shady area for campers including some power sites. Clean/stainless steel gas BBQ's for public use....free! I highly recommend this fabulous facility!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for kids and adults, walking the dog, sitting watching the ducks, playground with things from babies to teen to keep busy on. Flying fox. Flowers, skate track, room to set up volley ball.. toilets, paddling pool. A very well used park. Drinking fountain, rubbish bins. I can't think of anything it is lacking. , except maybe the icecream kiosk. That would perfect it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seemed nice. Park was tidy, has a great playground for kids, a few walking tracks and a nice looking campground too. We only went to explore the park and check out the campground for future camp trips. Didn't realise that the campground is right next door to the cemetery, which isn't really my thing but quite a few campers didn't seem to mind. Still a pretty area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little playground with free barbecues and a flying fox for the bigger kids or young at heart. 3 separate playgrounds for kids of all ages. Will definitely be going back next time we pass through.
