β β β β β Long long wait for appointments. Then make sure you take enough time off work as wait can be more than half on your scheduled appointment. Doctors are nice and and professional. Waiting room can get really hot during summer.

β β β β β Booked a pre appointment to talk about getting my IUD reinserted. The girls working here are friendly, knowledgable and professional. The only downside is that I have to pay quite a lot as I'm not a resident but I value the quality of service and am thankful for being made to feel at ease when discussing very private matters. Thanks ladies :-)

β β β β β After waiting on hold for 20 minutes I tried to book an appointment and the number I called basically just said "no". Not, "there is an appointment in x amount of days or weeks" just "no" and that I should "go see my GP". If I wanted to see a GP I would go to a GP, I'm not an idiot. Unprofessional and a complete waste of time.

β β β β β Terrible waiting times for appointment with no guarantee youβll be seen. Havenβt been given adequate alternative option when my appointment which I have been waiting for over a month was cancelled due nurse sick. Was given another 2 weeks waiting time.
Clinic & doctors itself is overall ok. I wish I wouldnβt have to use family planning again.

β β β β β I have been with Wellington Clinic for years. The service recently is just shocking. I always ask for my next appointments pre-booked at the reception. The receptionist advised my appointments were booked. But this is the third time she did not do what she said. I had to ring the call centre, tried to re-book my appointment. Always received the answer that I didnt have any appointment booked. And again today, the person even told me it was my responsibility because they were very busy, then told me to go to GP instead. She did not even want to book me for another appointment. Anyone cares about customer service at the clinic anymore? If you cannot book or accept any appointments, just tell the truth.

β β β β β Really surprised to see that people take the time to give Family Planning a review, but from reading a few of the negative ones I thought it would make sense to share my positive experience.
I had to make an appointment during level 4 and the entire system/experience was AWESOME. 10/10 would go again.
Not only were staff extremely professional during such trying times, they were friendly, considerate, and all-round superstars who followed Covid protocols superbly.
Knowing that there are essential workers out there who are dedicated to allowing women to have control of their own fertility truly helps me sleep better at night, you all deserve significant pay rises.
