As others have mentioned, we were told off for taking a picture. The shoes were doc martins, which are at every shoe store, this man does not have any special claim to them. He immediately started ranting about how impolite and offended we were when we were simply trying to understand what he was saying.
“How would you feel if I came into your house and took photos?” Sir, this isn’t your house, there’s nothing private or personal about a pair of doc martins that I could (and did) buy anywhere else.
I could have respected your wish if you’d shown some basic respect about it. Try being considerate, perhaps something like “Please ask if you’d like to take photos, however I’d rather you not” instead of just attacking customers for doing something they weren’t aware was wrong.

I am truly grateful and will continue to shop at the store going forward. This establishment should be the first port of call for anyone looking for good quality leather shoes.

I went into Atticus thinking it would be out of my price range but the shoes I liked were on sale and the shop assistant was really attentive helping me find the right size. Really happy with both the shoes I purchased and the shopping experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A range that can't be found elsewhere - in fact I found out today that they design the fabulous and original colour combinations for some of their range and order those combinations especially from the manufacturer, so you won't find them anywhere else!
But not only is their range fabulous, the service is impeccable - they really want to find you something that works for you. And staff are completely charming while doing so ?
Not somewhere to go when on a tight budget; but the quality is superb and worth the price. Highly recommended - I'll be saving my pennies towards a re-visit!
Edited to add: the shoes are not only very funky as you can see,but extremely comfortable ?
