★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. They came in, gave our car a once over, told me they will be back within 30 minutes after they picked up the part but were back in 15 minutes. The job was quoted for at a said price which we accepted, but they only charged for the time spent on the job and the parts which saved us a whopping $200. We are more then happy to recommend the services of mobilemechanic. Just great all round.

Got the job done but the communication wasn’t clear at all!
Got told it would be done on the day I contacted!
Got told then my starter motor needed parts, the next morning I got a completely different story. Got quoted on a brand new starter motor, also got told it would be only 687 and when originally contacted I am sure I heard incl GST, they sent through the invoice and it was excl GST and the total came to 792!!! I was pretty upset! Got charged $131 of labour as well when the guy spend all up about 30 minutes in TOTAL on the car incl diagnostic test!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DONT DEAL WITH SIMON. Was quoted $89+gst by Simon for a call out and diagnostic scan of car, my Ford Falcon was scanned which took 10 mins and the driver was lovely, driver asked Simon if he should charge $89+gst and after a 5 min phone call I was charged $230 incl gst. He mislead and ripped me off.
SIMON WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

All the other reviews are true - if they try to tow your car or remove any of the parts, DO NOT let them, they will use this as an opportunity to stick you with a huge invoice. This place is as shady as they come. They are actually based in Onehunga (and are using the same name as the Sandringham workshop to mislead people). Save your self some money and a headache and avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called through for a service with Simon. He has poorly managed our call out: We were told out cars would be done later in the day but this wasnt the case. Cars werent towed away as promised and I had to call in to ask when. Following day, our cars still werent picked up as promised. Got the shock of my life when we were billed nearly a thousand bucks for a "quick" tank fix when we were told it would be just over 600.
Unreliable, unprofessional, and unethical price gouging cowboys. Do not use these idiots!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do your self a favor and DON'T DEAL WITH SIMON. These guys don't even know how to rewire a Tow bar, they spent over 4 hrs and could even get it working. Took it to someone qualified and they spend less than an hr. Simon also said he would refund me if I got if fixed cheaper else where which I did, however he refused even when his refund offer was stated in writing on my invoice. Lesson learnt don't deal with people who have no idea....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An extremely poor and unprofessional level of service from Simon and his clan based out by angle st in onehunga. Very upset and angry I got charged more than I was quoted for and had my car issues happen three weeks after we got it fixed by them!! Now I have spent nearly 2k on repairs from them in a space of a month. They are out siphoning your money for bad and ill will.
DONT USE THESE GUYS PLEASE USE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were left absolutely devastated after dealing with these scam artists. Our car needed the starter motor replaced, seemly straight forward job.. They quoted $600 and after finally getting our car back they charged us $1000. This was frustrating to say the least, however, when we went to drive our car it was completely undrivable as the transmission has been completely wrecked!? Simon of course denied any responsibility.
They have cost us our car. We are absolutely gutted.
I would not even trust these guys to change a tire! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
