I would like to thank you for helping our move go so smoothly the other day, the two guys were fantastic, things couldn't have gone better, even having to move large couches around tight difficult entrance ways was not a problem. I would recommend Auckland movers to anyone moving and know that you will be the first people I will call when I have to move again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick to get a quote, confirmed day before coming, and also advised that there was a delay from 8am to 2pm due to a team having covid, which was understandable. A friendly crew and they arrived on time. Crew was quick and in no time I was moved to my new home. I can highly recommend Auckland Movers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nick and his team was really easy and fun to work with. They worked fast and had no problem to check in frequently to ensure our stuff is placed in the new house correctly! Really friendly service and lovely to work with as they communicate well. No moans or groans but I do think it's really time to scale down at our end with all the stuff! Thanks guys, we had good chats and worked really well. Was great to see the guys thought about safety and how to eliminate possibly injuries. The odd items damaged was nothing to stress about and they quickly adapted their handling of boxes and furniture when they saw me getting worried. Well done guys! We will gladly buy NORMAL Coke ? and choccies again! Sure hope it lifted the spirits and gave that extra boost of energy to get the job done! Colette & Alan

Showed up an hour early, and finished the work quickly.
They moved our super heavy piano through the narrow corridor, which was super hard. Without complaining.
Nothing damaged.
We're very happy we chose them.

The office team was great to work with and the moving team were exceptional. We got live updates as to where the vehicle was so could plan accordingly.
They moved us in such a professional manner.
Plus they were the best priced.
Great service and would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a team from Easy Movers [ contracted to Auckland Movers ] load and pack up our home from Auckland to Papamoa. The main driver PIC called me a few days before hand to run through some questions, which was good preparation. They arrived on time and their work ethic was very very good. My son and I helped where we could however all the heavy and larger items were packed by them. They certainly knew what they were doing and at now time did we feel rushed or pushed for time
We also had off site storage unit which was unloaded onto truck after our home and the team were fantastic with space on truck vs packing additional storage items and they were in & out within really good time frame
Sam from Auckland Movers was easy to deal with and overall experience was good. I did mention to Auckland Movers we had home & storage unit. The initial quoted hours was under quoted due to storage unit however we were fully aware at the time
The PIC from Easy Movers made it clear as we left the storage unit and considering distance to new city and time to unload that we would need to pay for overnight transit so he and his team could stay overnight and return following day, which is totally understandable and we were happy to pay for the service
The team were unloading the truck in same work ethic as loading and it took less time to unload vs packing and fortunately we had double garage access to new home so they were placing all the bedding & large furniture + appliances straight to where they needed to go. Plus they helped lift our BBQ over the fence as side access was not wide enough
Had we known that there would have been an additional charge we would have arranged packing one day and moving the next. This would have helped us as well with cleaning home before we left. Some advice to people planning on moving to new city ... Don't try and do the move in the same day! It's just too much
Overall experience was very good. Although this is an Auckland Movers 'review' it is more aligned to the actual moving company and the team on the day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just wont ever use these guys ever again really bad customer service and no liability beware! We moved from Henderson to Orewa. Our shift from Henderson at the end of January 22 was amazing, the boys were super careful and were so helpful, but that is where the good service ended. We put our belongings into storage for 5 weeks into what we were told was a private lock up that could not be accessed by anyone. well 5 weeks later the truck arrived at our new home with three guys, Two were brand new and untrained and really not up to the job. We had boxes that were dropped marked fragile, a box marked laundry products and marked THIS WAY UP and this was tipped upside down, picture frames damaged that were not heavy just awkward, an outdoor table with a whole punched through, our large Rimu dining table and coffee table that was in pristine condition before moving, was scratched gouged and dented with what looks like gravel marks on the top, but even worse than that we had 4 fishing rods and a large oak coffee table and a box of perfumes just not turn up ??? and a few item delivered that were not ours that took a month and me threatening to take to the tip to get picked up. After a month of me hounding the company calling emailing
every day and not getting anywhere (they were looking for our coffee table apparently) I was getting totally frustrated. I was sent a curt note from the manager to say that I has signed a paper saying they accept no liability unless damage or loss was intentional . So they are able to loose furniture and cause huge damage and there is no liability on their part. They are not professional movers , how is this possible. They lost our contents and damaged a huge amount of property our estimate at the moment is around $10,000. I can understand a little damage they are large items that require professional movers that's why we chose them. but goods not turning up (we presume stolen)... and so much damage to our property. Yes we are insured but we pay the excess and loose our no claims bonus because of their carelessness. No care and no liability from this company makes them a company that should not be dealt with. I have family that moved in the last few months that had much better care and response from their chosen moving company. Just Beware and go elsewhere

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the worst experience i have had with any business from any industry in New Zealand. Do not be mistaken/mislead by their semi decent brand/website.
Auckland Movers moved our furniture out of our house, with only one minor incident where they scratched our ceiling with the drier and spilled washing machine water all over the carpet.
They then stored our furniture for approx 6month, in what was supposed to be a "private secure" facility. This was not the case when they sent photos showing our items were being stored with multiple other peoples furniture. In these photos that were sent to us on moving day where they were requesting clarity on what furniture was our, you could already see that items were damaged...
When our furniture arrived our fears were proven correct - All of our large furniture was severely damaged: Dining table, dining chairs, bar stools, media unit, outdoor dining table, BBQ, Bed Head. Damage included gouges taken out of tables, corners of tables snapped, stones/gravel embedded in the end grain of table, scratches and gouges taken out of chairs and bed head,
Obviously we refused to pay because of the condition of our goods, and we managed to get a quote to repair/replace any damaged goods whilst the move was still happening because the furniture was all so new and all came from the same shop - Over $8,000
We were met with apathy and a lack of remorse from both the moving labourers who decided to sit on our couch and said they wouldn't move until we paid, and the manager on the phone who repeatedly said that moving furniture was at the owners risk... This apathetic remorseless response was the toughest pill to swallow.
I understand moving being at the owners risk and that accidents happen! But there is a difference between and someone dropping/damaging one table, and all of our furniture having scratches, cracks, gouges, buckled, stones embedded. Each item had multiple impact areas, and looked like they'd had been dragged across a carpark - That is negligence, and verged on deliberate.
Very disappointed and surprised that there are companies out there with this approach to business, and lack of preparedness to own up to their mistakes.
