Taste wine, food and enjoy a vineyard lunch plus visits to 2 Sculpture Art Trails on this Full Day Tour from Auckland. En route to Matakana, your knowledgeable tour guide will take a detour to the quaint village of Puhoi, settled in 1863 by the Bohemians, where you will also stop at the Puhoi Cheese Factory and taste some premium cheeses.
Then you will visit Sculptureum, with its 750 different art works, a unique world-class art destination which will give you the opportunity to unlock the imagination, fuel creativity and ignite the mind before your vineyard lunch.
Your next stop will be at the Brick Bay Vineyard where art and wine are truly entwined. Here you will sample 3 of their current wines, enjoy an a la carte vineyard lunch with a glass of Brick Bay wine; then afterwards, you will walk along elegant boardwalks that lead through native trees with abundant bird life as you explore their Sculpture trail where you will discover an ever changing exhibition of over 50 sculptures.
Then finally, before we leave the Warkworth area and head back to Auckland, you will get the opportunity to taste some award-winning handcrafted artisan chocolates.

He got us where we needed to be, kept us informed, and entertained us with his knowledge of all things New Zealand. Alex did a great job. Before the tour I received multiple emails from the company telling me when and where I would be picked up and when and where I would be dropped off. They took care of all the logistics at each tour spot and Alex even took pictures of us. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Dwayne was great at making sure everybody was comfortable and having a good time, he was really good at his job. The tour its self is such an amazingly fun day, Hobbiton is so worth it and the glow worm caves are a must do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked the Hobbiton Movie Set guided tour and I was absolutely blown away. Such amazing service. I was picked up outside my apartment and driven to Matamata and back home. All of the routes were through scenic areas which added to the experience. What made it even better was the amazing tour guide, David, who went above and beyond to provide the best journey experience. I learned so much about New Zealand as David would tell me facts about all of the areas we drove through. Additionally, David also gave me some amazing tips for when I got to Hobbiton which would make the experience so much better! If I could give this tour a higher rating I would. I will definitely be booking more tours with this company in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I booked the Hobbiton and Glowworm package. What an amazing day! Both my partner and I are massive LOTR fans. We had a blast! All three your guides were fun, engaging and made us feel comfortable all the time! If you can, ask for Sunny at Hobbiton. He was exceptional.
For the day, we had Matt as our tour guide. He drive us everywhere, took us to lunch and morning tea and home at the end of the day. He was a delightful man and guide! Very knowledgeable, kind, engaging and funny. Mu partner and I really had a great time with him! It was a shame to leave the tour group at the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend. Of you're visiting Auckland and you have a day (6:40am-7pm), please, do yourself a favour and book this trip!

From start to finish the whole tour was amazing, David our tour guide was great company and really knew his stuff. The winerys we visited were beautiful and we even ended up tasting several extras at each place we visited for no extra cost. If your looking for a great way to spend a day in Auckland you can't go past this tour, we will definitely be doing it again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked the Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves tour. Our driver and guide, Tyler, was super nice and knowledgeable. He gave us tips for having the best experience in Hobbiton and the caves. Being a kiwi, he also gave us restaurant suggestions for later that night which proved quite good. The lunch provided on the tour was delicious as well. It's important to note that the day of our tour it rained all day, but the experience was still wonderful sinceTyler had umbrellas for us and the staff at Hobbiton were pros and use to the rain.
