★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We will NEVER recommend or use Avis again. Hamdy, the manager may try to overcharge you like he did us. He made a mistake on our invoice, we requested the amendments and chased for him to correct, even last resort at the airport but he waited for us to land back in the UK, then charged us a ridiculous amount. A complaint was made but he is ignoring us. Utterly disgusted with this branch. The girl working along side him, Holly, should be put in his place as manager. Poor customer care!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The booking and pickup were great - the staff member I dealt with was excellent and helpful. The car was nearly brand new and worked perfectly.
The problem I had was that I had a discount code I couldn't see how to add. So I contacted Avis afterwards to check whether the code could be added. The result: I was double charged for the booking, one charge (as expected) when I picked up the car, and another different (higher) charge 2 days after returning the car. It took a few days to get a refund on one of the charges and then I discovered they had refunded the lower charge, and kept the higher one! Unfortunately this has left a poor impression - a company that will charge you more than you agreed to pay when picking up the car.
