★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the highlights on the new promenade that ruins through the central city along the Avon river. I often sit in this area to eat lunch as it is without a doubt one of the most pleasant spots for this in the central city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pre-quake memories along the Avon riverside come to mind whenever myself and friends are at this site,theres the birds,ducks,swans,gulls,sparrows etc,eels and trout.
Kind of idyllic natural feeling existing in an inner city scenario,nature and metro in one maybe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a neat seating area, made up of a series of steps with poem like text which can be read from the opposite bank of the Avon River. You can fin the terraced seating next Oxford Terrace and the Bridge of Remembrance.
