★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this bakery today. I enjoyed a very delicious vegetable quiche made with plenty of vegetables and lovely pastry. Also an almond and chocolate croissant, so moist and yummy. My son loved his pie and chicken satay stick. My son had a coffee which he said was great. It looks like good quality and good value have kept this shop popular for many years. I will definitely be popping in again when I'm in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn’t even give one star : unfortunately I had experience some racism at this bakery 15 minutes ago and I feel the need to share this with the whanau. Whanau I came in this morning to buy some food for kids, the Asian lady dropped some the food bag and she picked it up and just hand it to me . I nicely asked her if she could replace it as it has been dropped she said “ you island pig just eat “ I am in shocked and I walked out . Whanau this is unacceptable I am not a pig I am a mother of 3 children from the island .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful of this place. I bought a combo of the thigh chicken, chips and a drink. The chicken was dry like it was 3 days ago and burnt so it was like eating steelo. The chips were fine though. I also purchased a pork filled roll and the meat was rancid. It had a vinegary smell like the meat had been lying out in the sun. The rest of the roll the egg and lettuce and had the vinegar smell too so had to throw it out. The female owner is very unhygienic as she in the past has dropped garlic bread on the ground when she went to warm it in the microwave and looked to see if I saw it and she said it would be ok and I said "not on your dirty floor" and she laughed and tried to still sell it to me. She also once coughed on my mince pie and I told her "no"and she said "yes". So will not go here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No star because me and my sister was in this bakery earlier this morning and the asian guy that owns the shop makes inappropriate remark about my sisters private part. I made a complain to his wife who works there earlier in the morning as well n she cover up for him saying he’s joking and that my sister is sensitive. Not acceptable !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zero star. The owner, the asian man said to me that I have the same name as his son, and he wanted to give me free pie . He claimed his steak and cheese is the best pie in the country , if I give him a good review on the internet . I took the pie and it was disgusting. It’s dry, no meat, no cheese, only thick salty gravies : which he claimed to be the best steak and cheese in the country . A real dodgy guy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked their steak and cheese pie...generous amount of beef and slight peppery note in the gravy. Crust is thick but overall tastes good.
Tried recently, Steak pie & cream donuts - Cream donut didn't taste fresh don't know if it was the cling wrap or the cream tasted weird. Steak pie used to be good but lately their pie's quality has fallen very bad can find less steak and more fillers and fat.
