★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They lucky to get a star. Ordered a cake topper on Wed ready for Friday morning.
Want to pick up and the image was wrong sized, words were cut of from the image. All they could say was Sorry our machine was broke down. Pretty pathetic. You had 2 days to get it right. Will not shop there ever again.
If you want things done and looking for any beautiful cakes, highly recommend Miss BonBons cake shop in Sheridan Street, New Lynn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a birthday cake and this is what we received. Many thanks to The Cheesecake Shop for putting us in most embarrassing situation in front of others in birthday party. The most surprising is that one of the staff members is saying that this is the texture of the cake and another one is asking if I need a refund. Very very poor and not at all professional. What I have learnt is "Order at your OWN risk."
NOT RECOMMENDED.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic service. People who r writing reviews here, at least got a cake, I didn’t even get the cake I ordered! They gave it to some random customer who asked for it. They didn’t bother checking the receipt or anything. Totally ruined my daughters birthday! I ordered the cake for pickup on Sunday at 11, and upon reaching there, they say some lowlife picked it up. There is no option of no star, CAUSE THATS WHAT THEY DESERVE!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Cookies and Cream cake that was so easily ordered online, and the business rang me the next morning to confirm my order and instructions. My 10 yr old daughter and her friends loved it and especially loved plucking the treats off the top!
Great selection of cakes and related accessories in store when I went to pick up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t even want to give 1 star because it’s absolutely rubbish service they provided. I asked him to write Happy birthday Papa and the staff person said $5 to write it.
We buy cakes for the occasions only and they are changing $5 just to write happy birthday or anything on the cake which is the main reason we order cakes for. And no one tells you that it will cost you extra when you place order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have ordered a cake for 6/05/2022. I spoke to a girl Marika in New lynn store and placed my order. I have ordered a pink color square cake with pink flowers.
I have received a very light color cake with white flowers (which did not look nice together).
My husband brought the cake home and I called the store to say this is not my right order. They said we cannot do anything, you can bring the cake and we can fix it. I was ready to go to my daughter’s school so obviously I did not have time to take the cake to the store.
Instead of admitting a mistake, they said this is what you have ordered. The girl who took my order even took a picture of the cake I wanted. None of us like the color of the cake as it was so dull.
We did not expect this kind of response from the store. You should follow customer’s orders and admit your mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cake we ordered was fresh and tasted so good. However, what is advertised on the website is a wee bit different to what we got. It was meant to be "covered with rainbow sequins" but the top of ours wasn't, just the outside was. Regardless, it was delicious and fresh so I'm happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to pick a small cake for my mates bday. However even the smallest one costed me $41.90 plus $5 extra just for getting "HBD Abby" written on top. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they charged me 11.93% of the cake's price just for getting a standard Happy Birthday message written on it. Moreover, they didn't even tell me beforehand that it'd cost extra. Staff members are friendly and helpful but I think overall presentation of the store could definitely improve. Some of the cakes are extremely overpriced in my opinion.
