★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there two nights. Bed very comfor table. Nice touches like air freshener in the toilet, plunger coffee as well as instant. While a bit dated, it is very clean and warm. Quiet too for a main road
Would definitely recommend it. Will stay there again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've stayed here on numerous occasions while visiting Palmerston North and found the proprietors friendly and have no problem booking a room for the night. At times we've turned up without a booking and they have been accommodating to our needs. The rooms are clean and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thankfully, my friend and I didn’t have the unfortunate displeasure of staying here. We tried to make a booking via phone, and were told “nobody likes my rules, we’re cautious around here” and then asked if we smoke, and answered yes, we were then hung up on. Top class customer service to the lad we dealt with, didn’t catch his name. But I couldn’t imagine feeling welcomed into this motel. Absolutely left feeling shocked and appalled, I would take smoking a cancer stick any day than being a knob jockey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is just plain rude all his comments on these reviews saying he just has bad days sometimes is a lie he just has a nasty attitude and something against young people, My partner and I were just looking for a quiet place to stay after attending the speedway literally just to sleep and he was not welcoming at all. He got mad that we booked online and made it clear he would not of let us book in person just by judging us by appearance. Disgusting
