B & S Construction is a civil contracting company based in Taupo with predominant scopes of work involved with the Geothermal and Hydro Power Stations based around the Central North Island. As a company, we handle all sized work scopes from large scale civil construction projects to minor fences and retainings. Many of our staff have over twenty years’ experience in the industry, with a number qualified carpenters also having residential building experience.

Health and Safety is a primary focus within the company, with our whole team involved in our H&S Committee, updated regularly with current legislation and taking part consistently with daily hazard identification, hazard control discussions and toolbox meetings.
All our staff are provided and trained in the use of PPE, including task specific safety equipment. Each team member has current First Aid and Life Support Training. Many individuals are further trained and hold competencies for specific works such as Confined Space Entry, Gas Detection and Working at Heights.
An integral aspect of our company is the provision of Health and Safety Rescue Team Services where we can supply highly trained teams or individuals to oversee and/or assist with hazardous work scopes or environments. We have successfully completed many industry standard auditing processes throughout the years, obtaining Tertiary Level ACC Accreditation and consistently high results in IMPAC Prequalification Audits alongside many of our client companies own internal audits.
