★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit dated but great value place to stay with the kids. Great amenities. Would love to go back when no restrictions on dining, spa pools etc. We have stayed twice. EV charging: two Tesla destination chargers and two type 2 plugs (being your own cable though). Hot pools are nice. Trampoline and swings for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let us accept that this hotel is aging but the service levels are very high indeed. I was travelling to Wellington but needed to stop over night midway. I called reception and made a booking - the attentiveness of the person answering the call was 5 star. She was human and got me a great deal including breakfast. It is the people that make a hotel - well done

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location short drive into the main city, close to the Wairakei Terraces and can include pass with booking. Also had some chargers for electric vehicles which was brilliant. We only stayed the one night but would like to come back again for longer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was tired but very clean. Great location, great hot pool, lovely grounds. Friendly and the breakfast and evening meal was very good. Room service we had to request and I know they are short of staff and all that, but 4pm in the afternoon I was tired and needed to rest. We had been out all day, its always the way rooms done too late in the day for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We feel the grounds and amenities,pools and gardens are beautiful. The staff attentive and friendly. It does have a lovely resort feel .Great for families .
Unfortunately hotel rooms,lobby,restaurants all in need of a major renovate and air con units put into rooms. The rates should be considerably cheaper until hotel updated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are regular guests here and I arranged this visit as a birthday treat for my daughter who really enjoys the pool areas and other recreational facilities on site. The room was clean and tidy (although a little dated), but in a lovely quiet area which was much appreciated. The card and chocolates for my daughter was a lovely gesture, and the meal in the evening was wonderful and she was treated as a VIP there as well.
For a short break, just after Christmas this was superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this resort. The staff are friendly and very accommodating with a very comfortable roll out bed provided for our large family. There are two hot pools and we loved the really large pool which was a perfect temperature we swam in the rain. The food is delicious we had buffet for dinner and breakfast. Definitely coming back! Thank you x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The evening lady at reception was pretty disappointing, i think she is still new or she should have been trained better. Rooms and facilities somewhat dated but still nice and clean. Pillows very soft and used, not the luxury hotel pillows you sometimes get. Pools are a big bonus and the breakfast buffet and their staff are amazing. Plenty of parking plus the electric vehicle charging facilities are a big plus also. Nicely manicured garden grounds. Another great feature is a very big gym with plenty of equipment and a water cooler.
