★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered lockdown birthday cupcakes to be delivered. Not knowing anything about Bakeaboo but taking a chance. I am so glad I did. They looked amazing and I am told they were light and fluffy. The sponge lighter than the cream topping and absolutely delicious. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is like carrot banana cake as it is sweetened with banana. I ordered this cake to Elina with my own specific ingredients using almond flour and no refine sugar. The cream cheese was perfect just natural. I love the dried stuff around with a little bit of white chocolate. Thank you Elina!

She was super friendly and great at communicating over email. Her shop is super cute and she made it easy to order what we wanted. The gold flakes really made the cookies look amazing and they tasted great too!
Would 100% recommend Bake a Boo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not underestimate the coffee here. The cakes and treats are good enough to make you a regular here without ever buying a coffee, but the word “cakery” does not wholly represent how talented the baristas are, or how well selected the coffee is. This isn’t cakes with coffee on the side, it’s coffee with cakes on the side.
Don’t forget to try some Gelato too.

The only let down is that when we visit, there’s not enough space to sit down and enjoy the company of the staff and enjoy the charming interior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome gelato and desserts in Orewa. Popped in just as they were closing and had the most AMAZING dark chocolate sorbet and strawberry marshmallow gelato!
The Google map location is a bit off though, will have to walk towards the beach to find it!
