★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gramercy has the bread and bakery treats that you need and deserve in a Saturday morning. Their bread has lovely crunchy crusts, and a wonderful inside texture and taste. And their chocolate and custard brioche is to die for.
Definitely worth getting out of bed for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wellington’s best bakery. I have never, tasted anywhere, a bread better than their Sprouted Grain Seeded Loaf. Expensive and that’s why, when I treat myself, I keep it a secret in my household!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ham and cheese croiassant, have not ever tried before. I was amazing, although was cold but no matter. The cheese and butter flavor is so fantastic, the texture is crunch and soft.
Atmosphere is so calm, good place to enjoy delicious breads and pastries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Croissants were nice and crispy, beautiful buttery layers. But found the seed loaf too floral. Slightly sticky consistency which makes for great toast. Just dial back the poppy seed and its a winner. The flavour is overpowering for any accompaniments

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wellington has more famous bakeries, more popular ones too. But it doesn’t have better. Gramercy has the kind of craft and quality you’d expect to find in the restaurant quarter of Europes greatest cities.
The price point is high, but if it’s your Saturday morning treat it’s good for every cent. I’ve had a couple of different loaves and each type of croissant and it’s all been wonderful.
