Amazing cakes and milkshakes! There was one gluten free option, but no vegan. I had a delicious dark chocolate raspberry cake and wonderful design your own milkshake. Would definitely recommend!

I can only vote on the cake, as their milkshake machine wasn't working when I visited, but the cake alone is worth 5 stars. Light and fluffy but with substance and the best buttercream I've ever had. Utterly perfect when you want a super duper treat, or (in my case) birthday cake without the temptation of an entire cake at home ? Can't wait for my next visit to try out the milkshakes!

Delicious cakes served at a 50s style milk bar. Sweet Bakery and Cakery is worth the visit just for the inherent cute factor. Good coffee served to accompany a sweet treat. Brownies, mini cup cakes, cup cakes and even something bigger if you're clever enough to order ahead. Flavours span Jaffa (orange/choc) brownie, M&Ms cupcakes, Pinkie bar flavours and into classics like banana caramel. Go here to spoil yourself.

Please do not order from this place. That's all I will say as I don't want to go into the details. It was such an awful experience and really upset our family. It was run by an amazing lady who really cared and has since been sold to someone who doesn't understand the business of making cakes for special occasions.

They are a small shop with limited options, but their options are actually good. I usually find that shops doing milkshakes use poor quality milk. Thankfully, it's not the case here as the milkshake tastes like a good quality one and is not gross and fatty. They also have cakes, gluten free options, cupcakes, cheese scones and cookies. They only have one staff, so it looks a bit sad at times, but they can get better as more people discover their venue. They also should try to diversify their shakes from time to time, giving us a reason to come back. It should also be recognised they use 'made out of vegetables' BPA free milkshake cups. That's a great decision. In summary, milkshakes are good in every season and you should try one from this place if you have a sweet tooth. Although in a weird location, it's worth a visit.

I got an order sent from my mum for my 21st birthday. It was completely the wrong order and I was even given the receipt with the details of what was meant to be sent. My mum ordered a caramel snickers cake, with a special message saying “Happy 21st Birthday”, and a special note from my family. I received a plain vanilla cake with no message at all. Not only that, it was basically inedible because of how insanely sweet it was. I am severely disappointed. Emailed asking for a refund, as did my mum and they haven’t replied after a whole week.
