★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had 60th birthday for a close friend of my husband. It was also our anniversary on the Sunday that was the weekend of the 20th-21st of November we went done on the Friday and stayed the weekend. Our room was very clean and tidy the bed comfortable and as for the shower it was awesome. The next time we are in Levin for the weekend we will definitely try and get a room here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After getting a flat tire on my motorbike in Levin we needed accommodation for the night. After finding and paying for accommodation at Bassingers motor lodge we were unable to excess the room and were forced to find alternative accommodation. We received txt confirmation for the booking from Expedia at 9.28pm. I visited Bassingers in the morning to discuss reimbursement which has since been processed. The lady I talked with apologized and explained they didn’t receive guests after 8pm even though they realized Expedia were still advertising vacancies on their behalf after 8pm so my partner was dropped off at a motel by taxi with no one to let her in even though it appeared the patrons lived on site. This added undue stress on top of what was already a difficult situation, Very poor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently stayed with Gavin and Evelyn for a period of time. They were friendly and accommodating. The premises were clean and spacious and Handy to town but not in town. The property was well frequented but not not busy or had noisy neighbors. It was cleaned regularly well stocked , and cosy for the extended period we were there. Highly recommended if you need to stay in Levin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice clean motel and rooms, lots of parking, be aware that you will be able to hear the trains going past during the night but if you are a deep sleeper then you may not. Overall a nice place to stay and I am booked in to stay again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SO NOISY AND RIGHT ON THE TRAIN TRACK. The room was nice and bed super comfy but there was no double glazing so you could hear people next door as clear as day and also outside, plus the main road traffic PLUS the train going past out the back door. The outside light was right outside our door and the curtains weren't thick enough so we put a blanket up, the tap ran hot for too long so ended up cleaning our teeth with hot water, there was no air-conditioner despite the sign, we got the disabled room, even though we didn't ask for it, so the water from the shower went everywhere, the fan didn't work either. It was so disappointing as we were both so tired at the end of our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great room, very spacious, great pressure in shower, but once again not a fan of fixed shower heads, lovely spa bath, very clean. Just loved the chocolates on the pillows,as it was easter i wouldn't expect every day ? yes i would stay again ?
