β β β β β Good service, simple but tasty food. Wines were lovely, views were beautiful. Risotto came with cheese (when it was ordered vegan). Other than that minor thing, everything was great.

β β β β β Best experience! Food was some of the best weβve had , would particularly recommend the chocolate lava cake it was unreal . Views were beautiful . They catered well to kids and fave our son some colouring in things and had a nice kids menu and high chair . Would definitely go back !

β β β β β We had a big group in for a birthday lunch and the set menu and it was delicious! They kindly catered to multiple food restrictions and the waitress was great at communicating the course timings. Service was excellent; such a beautiful place!

β β β β β Beautiful spot for a Sunday lunch date. Great vegan option, we shared the vegetarian grazing board which came with vegan cheese! They had run out of the loaf so offered to substitute whatever we wanted from the platter options so we asked for extra pie, and it came out with two of the most beautiful vegan pies (which was an option as main) so we were so stoked, a $46 sharer and we had so much food. The Arancini balls were a fab. Lovely vegan cheesecake to finish too. Highly recommend!

β β β β β Been here 3 times and have really enjoyed each visit! Very friendly and warm staff, the food is great, view is amazing, very responsive to emails. Have done wine tastings at a number of different wineries across Waiheke and like the wines/tasting here the best. I'm not a sophisticated wine drinker; I'm just like 'tastes like wine!' But their wines always taste interesting, there's a depth and nuance that I don't find with wines from the other wineries. Highly recommend as a 'must-visit' if you go to Waiheke!

β β β β β We did wine tasting here as apart of the fullers hop on hop off Vinyard explorer pass.
This is the third time we have come here. Once before on a different wine tour, and once after hiking the close-by regional park.
This winery by far has the best food and the nicest staff members. On all three occasions we've felt extremely welcome and valued, the food has been second to none, and the wine phenomenal. You are allowed to walk around the grounds afterwards. Other vineyards are quite strict and don't like you walking on their lawns or grounds. But the Batch have sculptures you can see, and plenty of bench seats.
Overall I'd recommend Batch. The service is just so much better than other places.

β β β β β The view from the top of the hill at the Batch Winery is absolutely amazing. It was worth coming there just for that. The restaurant has great ambience, huge windows and lovely breeze. Lunch was nice too. My 6 year old daughter and I were hoping to get a shuttle bus back down as we didn't have a car and walked all the way from Rocky Bay via the Cascade Waterfalls but we were told "The bus is broken today". So we walked all the way back to the Sculpture car park where someone kindly gave us a lift. The funny thing is I was trying to catch a shuttle bus to the Batch last year and it was "broken" on the day as well. Bad luck or their shuttle bus just isn't reliable? Not sure.
