β β β β β Please don not buy food from Bawarchi resturant
I bought it takeway Hyderabadi biryani half an hour ago it smell like they cook it one week ago smell is all over in my house biryani was stinking and fetid.
We cannot even stand close to this foul biryani
I called and spoke with resturant manager he refused to admit it
It needs to stop people should not eat bad food to get food poisoning

Several nicely done curry sauces
Only the desert was not my cup of tea, that's a bit pity

β β β β β A bad smell was coming from the downstairs sitting area, even upon request they didnβt let us sit upstairs. We were a group of 4 and all vegetarian came straight from Hamilton but experienced a very bad attitude from the girl working on counter . We literally couldnβt bear that smell but we were eager to eat there so requested over and over again but they denied thrice. We went somewhere else and spent good money which would have been yours. Good luck for your business

β β β β β Bawarchi used to be one of our fav restaurant to go. The biryani was really good and the sri lankan fish curry was just amazing.
But now, it tasted very average. Donβt know what happened, but it was a shame.

β β β β β This restaurant buffet was recommended by an acquaintance, and it lived up to expectations. Very reasonably priced lunch for Auckland at $17. Excellent food of wide variety, clean and friendly atmosphere. Loved the Indian music. Lots of NZ Indian clients who obviously knew the food was good.

β β β β β I went into Bawarchi with a clear conscience and no expectations, letβs just say we were off to a rocky start by first being forced to scan a QR code to view a buggy digital website - which implied rice came with my dish yet didnβtβ¦ I ordered a special: Lucknowi chicken because i like to try new things. However when i asked what the dish was i was told βgravy and chicken, small piecesβ yeah real descriptive. Sounds like every single curry Iβve had as well as some roast dinners.. granted it was a nice meal, but $23 dollars for a curry, rice and naan with mediocre service is a bit much for me. And im not that cheap. The curry was delicious, creamy, and i wish i could tell you what was it in because the waitress couldnβt - cashews and coconut cream maybe? Something else iβll never know. ?

β β β β β Iβm not Indian but recommended by mr patel my friend to come here. Mr patel told me that the chef here was together with Paradise at the beginning. So I went. Prices similar than paradise, Mt favourite afgani chicken now has curry here. Taste good and portion smaller than paradise. Iβll be back.
