The feedback we receive from guests is consistently 5 star!
We have more repeat business for Bay Lodge Cottage than any of the 60 or so properties in our portfolio.
It's disappointing to read such an uninformed, bitter and misguided review as posted here previously by Wolfgang... What a load of rubbish!
Surely this isn't the same Wolfgang Schmidt who recently featured on TVNZ singing the praises of Great Barrier Island and it's friendly locals that all respect each other and get along together??

β β β β β Hi Wolfgang. I am Christine, the owner of Bay Lodge Cottage. I don't have any record of you ever staying with us, so I am hoping that you have posted this review on our page by mistake.
We do not rape the ocean or run sewerage into it. We take our environmental responsibility on the island very seriously. To live or run a small business on the island, one has no choice but to respect the environment and take care of it. We also work in very closely with the locals, and support local business and charities.
