★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most impressed with this place. The owner is simply wonderful - so helpful, informative and easy to chat to.
The apartment is truely comfortable, clean, well stocked - and the kitchen is an absolute pleasure! The cutlery and crockery is of excellent quality and the knives are actually sharp! The BBQ was spotless and the beds super comfortable.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending this place!
No doubt I will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run by a very rude crazy lady. Place smelled damp. No access to spa pool despite advertising. Place is rundown and in need of a refurb. Very expensive for what you get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean campground and amenities, however no communal area or refrigerators. Not the most pleasant experience with the manager, who seemed to have overbooked the campsite during our stay. The whole check-in process was stressful and she had a bad attitude while handling any situation, not just with us but with multiple others checking in that day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly and helpful host. A family travelling together with two motorhomes but we also decided to get a room for 2 nights a little tired of sharing the motorhome. Motorhome sites spacious and easy to access. Clean toilet and showers. No common room or kitchen area. Supermarket across the road. Walking distance to Waitangi and some shops. 5 minute drive to central Paihia which main carpark does have motorhome parking. Apartment was amazing! Beautiful decor, spacious living/bedroom areas, sparkling clean and very comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were put directly next to the bathrooms so couldn’t get much sleep with the lights and noise. Had to pay $2 in coins for hot water for what felt like 1 min, this was also not mentioned when checking only had one coin so my partner had a cold shower. Little to no cooking facilities. Customer service was lacking too, felt very belittled and talked down too. Could have gotten more for our money elsewhere.

The place is run very well, the owner is a dynamo, it's a campground not a 5 star hotel and yet the apartments and camp spaces are immaculate.
Very well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just stayed for 3 nights with our friends in an adjoining apartment with a shared deck. Lovely stay, amazing comfy bed and the host was more than accomodating with date changes due to COVID. Perfect location for families and lovely setting in amongst the native bush. Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed last weekend with our fur babies. Loved the close proximity to town beach count down petrol station. Our first time in our kitted out van. I got injured the lady at the reception was very concerned offered assistance but l toughened it out. She was very welcoming and of course her beloved fur baby Oliver 3rd. Place was very clean l like the fact they had an area to charge your phones. Overall experience l would go again. The only slight down fall was no refrigeration. No biggie due to Covid policy. We coped if we wanted to cool our drinks etc we just got a bucked of ice put it on ice. Besides we ate out and our fur babies had cooked food and there biscuits they were happy that’s all that matters. Will be going back this long weekend that’s if she has room.
