β β β β β We've stayed at the Bayside Motel three times now and always had a lovely experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean and nicely presented, with all the facilities you need. The beds are comfortable, it's quiet and in a great location, right near the beach and a short drive into town (not too far to walk, either). The bathrooms are nicely presented, powerful showers, and I was impressed with the refillable soap and shampoo dispensers - very environmentally friendly! Lovely hosts too. Will definitely be back.

β β β β β We had a studio unit upstairs. There for 2.nights. Beautiful room. Lovely and clean. Large bathroom. Right across the road from the beach. Everything we needed for our stay. Would stay again definitely

β β β β β Excellent hospitality. Clean and spacious room. Closer to all shops and restaurants. Wharf if only 4 mins. drive. We enjoyed a lot and recommend others as this place is value for price. Only 1 negative point is parking of vehicle is bit tight but that can be ignored.

β β β β β A last-minute decision for a night away... an easy booking online the night before. We were welcomed and upgraded to a very clean and well set up room. Tours/trips were suggested for the limited time we were there. So easy, thank you. We will be back :)

Not in heart of town so no noise. But across Rd from beach. Perfect. An can walk to town along the beach as long as it not high tide ha ha

β β β β β The room was clean and the location was brilliant. We had horrific upstairs neighbours for 2 of the 3 nights who were aggressively turning on their water every 15 seconds between the hours of 10pm and 1am as well as stomping around clanging pots together. We informed the owner and he had a word to them, although it didnβt change their behaviour. Thankfully they left and our final night was brilliant. Nothing against the owner, as he was lovely, but would recommend an upstairs apartment as there is very little sound-proofing.

β β β β β Beautiful place. We stayed for 3 nights. Very tidy, large bathroom and comfortable beds. Beach across the road as well. The owner gave us a map of where the best beaches were. We went to all of them. Was awesome. Enjoyed our stay, will definitely recommend staying here. We will definitely be back ?

β β β β β Our family of three stayed in Bayside Motel Whitianga for the last week of school summer holidays in 2022. We can not fault this place. From an excellent location, proximity to the beach and town, friendly and attentive hosts, to clean, modern and well equipped rooms. Off street parking, large bathroom, very quiet AC. Thank you Robyn and Warren for helping us with the medical issue we were suddenly facing and with recommendations of places to visit. We felt very welcome.
