★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I contacted Bayside and Paul got back to me and we had arranged for a measure and quote which came back quickly (unlike others who I had to chase up to get onsite and follow up to get the quote). Paul was extremely helpful and prompt in answering my questions and giving us examples of past jobs to help us make a decision on product and colour. The job was completed quickly and was super impressed with going above and beyond expectations. The old roof was removed off site as soon as it was down and aside from a new roof, you wouldn't know these guys had been there. The team were professional, hard working and courteous. Didn't feel I was just another job and with old school traditions and customer service, I'd definitely recommend Bayside Roofing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul, Matt and the team have just replaced our roof. Paul provided a very competitive quote and pretty accurate estimate of roof arrival time (due to lockdown). He also continued to keep us informed of progress/any delays so communication was great. Matt and the team completed the roof in one day mainly due to the number of staff on site and their operating system. I was impressed with their onsite safety, their care of our property and the politeness and respect from all the roofing staff. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t usually rate on Google but I think Bayside Roofing really deserves a 5 star rating. Paul and Mat did our roof in just 2 days. I’m very satisfied with the service. Unlike some roofing companies in Wellington that just muck you around. Paul is very reliable and responsive. Always on time. From ordering materials to installing the roof, the entire thing was absolutely worry-free.
We need more reliable business owners like Paul in the industry. I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends or neighbours in the future.

On time? No. They were 2 months early. Love that right there!
They came, they Roofed, they left. All in record time. All done with a real professional touch. I never thought getting a house re-roofed would be that easy and painless. Paul was great to deal with in the beginning and then Matt took over onsite.
He was the attention to detail guy!
Loved it.
Recommend these guys if you are thinking of a new roof.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I selected Bayside Roofing because of their many positive online feedbacks, and the recent Google reviews helped reassure me that I'd made the right choice.
The whole job (100 sq.metres), from delivery of scaffolding / materials, to new roof installed / old roof taken offsite, was completed in just 24 hours, and sooner than expected too.
There were a couple of gremlins, in that the delivery was short one length of edge flashing (and surplus a similar length of ridge flashing), and a section of spouting was damaged during erection of scaffolding, but Paul and Matt kept me in the loop and resolved both issues promptly, such that the job was fully signed off in five days.
A nice attention to detail was that screw holes created where scaffolding had been attached to the eaves were all filled in. Likewise, the ground around the house was left in a tidy condition.
All in all then, I'm delighted with the result.
TIPS FOR HOMEOWNERS
Something to do afterwards, is to remove accumulated debris from the gutters - I found an assortment of screws and nails, pieces of paper and polythene, small offcuts of new roofing iron, and flakes of rusting metal and nails from the old roof, along with concrete 'gravel' from a chimney that was 'topped'. It's the sort of stuff that readily traps leaves, and you certainly wouldn't want it washing into your downpipes or stormwater drains ...
Another thing to perhaps bear in mind (with an iron roof in particular), is to remove pets from the property. Removing the old roof especially, created a truly phenomenal amount of noise, such that it's really quite impossible to remain inside the house while that's going on, and - had my cat still been alive - she would've been terrified by the incredible racket from the old roof being removed.
