★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy, clean hostel with such chill vibes. I would 100% recommend staying here. The staff are friendly and helpful. You’ll feel at home from the moment you arrive and not want to leave. I had such a lovely experience and it’s an amazing place to stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! Came as a guest, left as a family member! The staff is super friendly and make you feel absolutely welcome! You can get to surf daily if you like and everything you need for a surf session is available! Great atmosphere because of all the artwork too! Definitely highly recommend to stay here! :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and very relaxed vibe. However it looks like because there's been very few travellers due to covid, the hostel has shifted to long term locals renting rooms in order to pay the bills. There was two old and quite weird men staying there including one in his 60s who would make phone calls for hours on end in between playing LOUD music in his room (next to the dorms) until 11pm and then continue again when he woke up at 7am. Almost felt like I was back at Halls / University - not realising he was in a hostel with other guests who like to sleep / wake up without the sound of music blaring through the walls.
Would be a cool place to stay with the right people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hostel! The woofers had questionable jumper choices but it added to the charm and they were very friendly. Really homely vibes and the owner made us feel very welcome. Definitely THE place to stay in Westport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ surfing lesson for the two children aged 11 and 17, Steve was the instructor. Both had a really cool time and would strongly recommend.
wetsuit and surfboard.are supplied andquickshowerto wash off the salt afterwards.
by the end of the session both kids were were standing up so very very happy and were smiling all over the place.
The beach was shallow so very friendly for learners.
come and do this and have lots of fun.

WALK DISTANCE TO THE SHOPS AS WELL !
They offer surf lessons too so any keen surfer or beginner can have a blast.
